We can’t. After this, we probably won’t.

I wonder if one of the openers would be axed to accommodate him. Stranger things have happened in Indian Cricket.

I hope they won’t make him open again, that would suck. Both Karthik and Dravid will be under pressure.. Laxman can play at #3, which will free up a place for Yuvi in the middle order.

So, what does the batting line-up look like to you?

Heh.. since when are fans supposed to give constructive feedback?? ;)

In any case, it’s going to look something like: Jaffer, _, _, Tendulkar, Ganguly, _, _ + bowlers. So we have Karthik, Dravid, Laxman, Yuvi and Dhoni, and only 4 available spots. Since the next series is against Australia, Dravid and Laxman are a must have.. I would leave Karthik out and have Dravid open the innings, then put Laxman at #3 and Yuvi at #6. Not the ideal scenario for Dravid, but given Karthik’s current form, he’s pretty much opening anyways.

Woohoo! Bruce Yardly agrees with me! Except he had Tendulkar at #3. I don’t think that’s going to happen.. Laxman is much better suited for that position.

Forget Bruce Yardly.. even I agree with you :D

My sympathies are with Dravid though.
