Seattle is typically not the city that pops into people’s minds when you say “startups”. And that’s for a good reason.. According this chart from last year, Bay Area has over 4 times as many startups as Seattle (or at least 4 times as many job postings!). But that doesn’t mean there aren’t enough crazy people here who love the beautiful gray sky and the constant drizzling..
Marcelo, my ex-manager and a really wonderful guy, has published what he calls the “Seattle Startups Index“, a list of Seattle’s startups ordered by their Alexa rankings.. This sure is extremely entertaining!!
